The Idle RPG is just what it sounds like: an RPG in which the players idle. In addition to merely gaining levels, players can find items and battle other players. However, this is all done for you; you just idle. There are no set classes; you can name your character anything you like, and have its class be anything you like, as well.

The original coder of idlerpg has decided not to do any more updates. However, we think that there are some issues that could be enhanced (not in the gamecode itself) in the way the bot operates.
At the moment IdleRPG still relies on textfile databases. We are working on changing that to use mysql instead using the Perl::DBI engine. This also should enable it for anyone to easily host the bot on a different server then the website the data is displayed. Also this will enable us to add features for admins and users to maintain settings and accounts through the website as well.
